We Made the List(s)!
/My life runs on lists - it’s the only way I can really focus on what needs to be done and when. But there are more to lists than things needing done, and I’m proud to have made the list - twice! What list? The first surprise was to have been chosen by Forbes magazine as one of America’s Top 200 Residential Architects. It’s a big country, and I’m honored to be recognized for my firm’s contributions. This was an inaugural list, so being included is especially sweet.
And then we did it again - JRA Architecture earned another accolade as one of America’s Best-In-State Residential Architects. Forbes’ inaugural Best-In-State Residential Architects List was compiled to help readers in search of a residential architect, and over 20,000 firms were vetted. Many thanks to editor Richard Olsen because this was a heavy lift. Being selected recognizes designers of single-family houses whose work stands apart for its excellence in the combined context of high design and distinctly place-based principles and practices of design and construction. That’s a mouthful, but simply put, it’s what we do as a firm, and what I prioritize - intentional, thoughtful and appropriate design solutions that meet the needs of the client while integrating seamlessly on the site and within the neighborhood.
I’m honored to be recognized for what we do.
