Forbes Recognition: National and New Jersey
J Reinert Architecture was recognized by Forbes among America’s Top 200 Residential Architects and America’s Best-in-State Residential Architects for New Jersey. Forbes’ selection process examined more than 20,000 architecture firms across the country, placing the recognition within a broad national review of residential practice. Together, these distinctions acknowledge the firm’s work within both a national conversation about residential design and a regional context shaped by New Jersey’s communities, landscapes, and ways of living.
America’s Top 200 Residential Architects
Forbes created America’s Top 200 Residential Architects to help homeowners identify accomplished residential architects across the country, extending visibility beyond the nation’s largest design markets. The list was compiled with input from a regionally diverse advisory board and a formal evaluation process focused on residential work, design quality, and place-based architectural practice. In New Jersey, only four firms were included on the 2025 list, with J Reinert Architecture recognized as the only South Jersey firm selected.

Residential Architects — New Jersey
Forbes created America’s Best-in-State Residential Architects to recognize accomplished residential architecture firms within their state and regional contexts, giving homeowners a more localized way to identify firms whose work demonstrates design quality, professionalism, and a thoughtful response to place. In New Jersey, only six firms/principals were included on the 2025 list, with J Reinert Architecture appearing to be the only South Jersey-based firm selected. The recognition reinforces the firm’s place within New Jersey’s residential architecture community while acknowledging work shaped by site, context, craft, and the way people live.

A Note of Appreciation
JRA is honored to be included on Forbes Magazine’s inaugural list of America’s Top Residential Architects. The firms evaluated and selected by Forbes architecture editor Richard Olsen and his team represent some of the most accomplished residential architecture practices in the country—many of them firms I have long admired. It is especially meaningful that Forbes created a national evaluation process that looked beyond the usual design centers and recognized thoughtful, place-based residential work across the country, including a small boutique firm in Haddonfield, New Jersey like JRA.
